Akuma Clan
The akuma Clan is pretty well-known due to the fact they’ve been around for centuries. However they are not well known in a good way. Many fear them and many assume they are heartless monsters due to the fact they themselves are true demons or oni as some like to call them. They have all developed different set of elemental powers.
Rules and Guidelines
1. Please ask permission to join the clan! There will be limited slots for now and I’ll open up more in the future.
2. Please be nice and kind to everyone, drama and arguing will not be tolerated.3. When you have finished designing your OC please send them to me for evaluation. Please do not be upset or discouraged if I tell you to change things. I just want to make sure they OC will fit into the akuma clan and are following the ideas etc. of what the Akuma clan is.4. If you want to ask for a special occupation please ask me about it!5. Please respect the lore and info about the Akuma clan, please do not try to change it. Of course you can come up with your own ideas and have fun with it but please do not change the lore of the clan etc.6. If you want additional slots, it depends whether I’m allowing more members to be made. I will have more slots open in the future so I’ll make sure to update on the discord server or on my instagram if I have more slots opening.7. Please make sure you read the whole card before making your OC! If you have any questions please feel free to send me a message and I will be more than happy to answer or help you out.8. History
The Akuma is a very old and ancient clan, due to this they have been around for a long time. They were true monsters before only hungry to dominate the human population and be superior to them, however they were not the only ancient clan. There had been another clan who were basically angels that swore to protect the humans. the two clans fought and clashed, One to eliminate the threat that held them back from having the power they were desperate for and the other to protect the world and the people in it.After many years of fighting finally the Tenshi won the war and even killed the Akuma clan leader who was just pure evil. Due to the leader being killed this allowed another and more wiser leader to rise. He was the frist official leader who actually did good for the clan and was more concerned about his people than wanting power. As time went on the clan become more better, instead of being power hungry onis they wanted to live normally with their people and live normal lives. Sadly they wanted this and changed for the better but the human world did not see this, instead they saw them as monsters still despite the fact they truly did change for the better. Many people decided to take action and attacked the poor Akuma members in their small little village that wasn’t far from the humans. They were all attacked and most killed. Luckily some ran away including the leader. He decided to move far away from the humans to keep his people safe from harm and to also give them the life they wanted. So they sailed the seas finding another continent that wasn’t yet habitat by humans and build their village which they call ‘Mazoku’ or ‘Mazokugakure’. There they build a whole village of their own for their people and we’re finally able to not live in fear of being attacked or killed. There village is hidden by trees and forests in case the village was ever found however most people know the clan and fear it still thinking and believing they are monsters so not many dare go look for them.Eventually when akuno’s father takes over they sadly enter another war with the Tenshi clan due to the fact the current clan leader for the Tenshi doesn’t like the Akuma clan and wants to wipe them out completely. The Tenshi clan leader is corrupted by power and manipulates his members, so they believe what he is saying is the right thing plus they can’t really go against him since they will be punished. Due to this war akuno’s father and mother and his older brother are all killed along with civilians, and guards.This leaves the young akuno devastated losing his mother and brother whom he cared for deeply. However this also leaves him burdened with becoming the leader, he was never meant to become the next leader so soon since his brother would have taken over once his father retired. Also some Akuma members didn’t think or believe he was fit to be the next leader since he was grieving the lose of his family but they also just doubted him. This fueled akuno to prove to them he was fit to be the next leader and that he would be a more amazing ruler than his father ever was.Currently akuno leads his people, he finally got the approval from his people and his clan is striving. However this doesn’t mean the humans like the clan. They still face issues with humans fearing them or even other humans who want to experiment on them trying to take their powers and abilities for their own, or even capturing a Akuma member to enslave them. They still face all these challenges but are trying to stay strong and get though these tough challenges.

Akuma clan territory and where their village is located.Akuma members are also fine to travel the territory however it’s just recommended to stay in their village since it’s hidden but also just more safe for them in case of anything.
It is a risk for any member to leave their home but it isn’t forbidden to do so. Most just stay in their home village since they all have a strong sense of belonging and their village is a very special place for all members.
Couples & Bonds
Akuma members usually bond with their soulmate or partner, they often like to mark their partners usually it’s with their scent so other members know they have another bonded and that member belongs to them or is taken. Akuma members can smell other members scents so if they can small a scent of another scent on the Akuma member beside their own that’s how they know they are taken and off limits. Akuma’s also often go into ‘heat’ every few months, this helps insure the clan continues their lineage and it’s just in their nature.When akuno’s father was the leader it was forbidden to not only be friends with humans but it was also strongly forbidden to ever be with a human in a romantic way. However now that akuno is the leader he has changed that ancient rule, now Akuma members are able to be with whom ever they fall in love with.
Village life
The Akuma village life is like any normal village, they run their shops, restaurants or hospitals like any other village. Their life in their village is pretty peaceful and normal.
Every year the Akuma clan holds a celebration, this celebration is meant for their clan and home and the fact they have had a hard and rough history but are finally living a good life in their home village. It’s also just to celebrate the village, their clan and people. A huge festival is held and all members take this celebration as very important. The celebration is called ‘Fukui’ which basically means happiness and prosperity.
